Hometown Heroes Parade Participation

Must be 21 or older. Guests will not be required to wear a kilt, but we recommend either their own krewe costume or something with a red, white and blue theme. 

• Bead drop Friday (5/28) 6:00-7:30pm. Our float is in the first building inside the gate at Stepps.

• Staging Opens 4:00 - Closes at 6:00

• Parade Starts 7:00

• There is no requirement to wear a mask in the staging or parade areas. The Rough Riders recommend no contact with the spectators along the parade route as beads should only be tossed.

• Float Location: Section 2 #70 West side of Nuccio Parkway. Only 45 entries per the safety meeting.  RR spaced out the numbers between floats. Entire parade should be finished by 8:30.

• Kegerator will be serving cold beer and we will have rum punch available, along with water and soda. But there will be no bartender for mixed drinks.

• Disbanding - floats will turn left onto 20th street and then Palm for all disbanding and cleanup/travel prep. 

• Hydration is key - It will be hot!
