    Transportation for Krewe of Shamrock members and their guests. First load of riders will depart at approximately 1:30 pm. Float committee gets priority to be on the first Tram.  Runs will continue approximately every 30 min. until everyone has been transported. The van will pick up on De Leon (north of the school) at N. BLVD., which runs between the parking lot and the school. 

    Krewe of Shamrock transportation to Children's Parade staging. There is parking at the school for a fee. Carpooling is encouraged and you may luck out if you get there early. It is a 5-6 block walk to the stores and restaurants in and around Hyde Park Village where there is also a parking garage.

    Line up: 135. Staging close time: All participants must be at the float by 3:00pm for Krewe picture and safety briefing.

    Distance: 1.5 miles

    Beads: 1 case suggested

    Bead drop: TBD

    Parade refreshments: Water, soda and snacks. No alcohol.

    Costumes: ALL participants are required to wear appropriate Krewe/Celtic attire. Remember, this is a family friendly parade so no "extreme" attire.

    Guests: Must wear KOS appropriate attire. Two wristbands required (YMKG Children's Parade + KOS guest wristband that has shamrocks). Sponsors need to keep an eye on and educate their guests.

    Disbanding: Official parade end is at Edison and S. Boulevard. 2-3 blocks from the end/disbanding area of the parade, security will sound an air horn. This will be your warning to gather your things and get off the float before it reaches the end of the parade. Also, please pay attention to your surroundings so that you are aware of how close the Krewe is to the end of the parade.
